ISO 764 - Magnetic field standard

The watch is daily submitted to different magnetic fields (computers, phones, motors,....). Depending of the level,  Timepieces can be disrupted or however shut down. The magnetism resistance is a real proof of quality. Various standards have been developped and are applied to confirm this criteria.

The watch is placed into a chrono comparator device to register the running details.

A magnetic field is applied according 3 different positions.

To complete the testing, an additional chrono comparator control is afterwards performed to register the impact of the magnetic field applied.
