Guarantee

The Swiss horological how-know is recognized all around the world for several centuries. Only few exceptions of watchmakers and manufactures located in Switzerland are able to obtain this certification. This is the guarantee of a product designed and adjusted by the greatest chronometric watchmakers.

The "Observatoire Chronométrique+", the certification label for fine watchmaking, is only of value if it is applied with rigorous control. A number of bodies are charged with overseeing its implementation: an independently operated legislative body, executive body and judiciary body.

On 6th of November 1886, state of council of Geneva proposed a law to protect the Geneva watchmaking know-how. This law applied on the optional control of Timepieces, requires various features with restrictive rules.
