OC+ Label
A certification that goes beyond the standards
The OC+ label is a certification developed by the Timelab Foundation under the auspices of the Republic and Canton of Geneva, which goes beyond the standards of ISO 3159.
It is reserved exclusively for Swiss watches.
Tests under real-world conditions
Unlike the ISO 3159 standard, the tests are carried out on fully assembled watches in their cases, in order to simulate real-world conditions of use. The protocol spans 21 days.
A comprehensive assessment
OC+ certification includes:
Chronometric accuracy
In accordance with ISO 3159, supplemented by a simulation of wear.
Power reserve
Verification that the watch operates for the expected duration without winding.
Water resistance
Tests in accordance with ISO 22810, including air pressure, immersion and condensation tests.
Magnetic resistance
Assessment in accordance with ISO 764, exposing the watch to a magnetic field of 4800 A/m in various positions.
A higher standard
Achieving the OC+ certification attests to a high level of overall reliability, going beyond mere accuracy. The OC+ label is based on official regulations defining all requirements and test protocols.
